Build Checklist

1. Level: 10
2. Experience Ponts: 75,000
3. Proficiency Bonus: +4
4. Choose a class. Note primary ability. (PHB 45)
5. Choose a race and subrace. (PHB 17-43)
6. Create a name.
7. Choose your age.
8. Note racial traits.
9. Choose languages. (PHB 123)
10. Record your Base Speed.
11. Determine abilitiy scores. (select one)
1. Standard Array: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8.
2. Roll 4d6, drop the lowest die. Roll for the six stats.
12. Add in racial ability scores. (PHB 12)
13. Choose a background. (PHB 125-141)
14. Record background features, proficiencies, equipment, and languages.
15. Record all class features. Spells, specializations, spell save DCs, etc.
16. Record your hit die.
17. Choose proficiencies, if required by your class.
18. Apply ability score improvements (or choose feats). Check your class level list.
19. Calculate ability modifiers.
20. Describe your character.
21. Select an alignment.
22. Record your initiative.
23. Determine max hit points.
1. First level is maximum hit points (die + ability)
2. Levels 2-10 either: hit die/2 + 1 (ie. d8/2 +1 = 5), or you can roll.
24. Total all saving throws.
25. Total all skills.
26. Record Passive Wisdom (Perception)
27. Starting Wealth: 6,000gp, two uncommon magic items, normal starting equipment.
